Casa en el cielo is located in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. The project design proposal is born from the user's needs and the inclined topography of the land, which will define the main access on the first level; generating a private space on the ground floor that is made up of a bedroom and a bathroom illuminated and ventilated by a private patio.
The combination of materials creates an atmosphere of warm and clean environments that favor the visual finishes that are found throughout the project: Gray tones that contrast with the oak wood, as well as the use of proportions in the geometry of the project such as the golden section that can be found in various spaces of the project.
The main access of the project was proposed on the first level, which connects with a central lobby that leads to the two different private areas (ground floor and second level) through the staircase, as well as to the public area, where the living room, dining room and kitchen are together in the same space, which connect with a garden at the back of the land, creating spaciousness and great natural lighting in the space thanks to the large windows in the living room and kitchen.
In the second level private area, spaces were designed that have a privileged view of the Pacific Sea, which is used in the master bedroom by creating a terrace that frames the panoramic view of the sea with a pergola; and in the back where the dressing room and bathroom are located, which are closed with a wooden lattice to provide the necessary privacy within the spaces.
