"A square house that is set around a square courtyard, in this way the built embraces the void, and thus organizes the environments around it" This is a remodeling of a house with a drawer type in the neighborhood of Belgrano R From the existing house, only the original iron structure and brick roof were reused.
A section of the house was demolished to duplicate the patio surface and the upper floor was organized respecting the different existing heights. For the bedroom, it was sought to protect privacy with a sliding window and a cement bench that generates a reading space.
Blending the boundary between the interior and exterior, helped us understand the dynamics that had to have the house, communicating the public environments to the patio, integrating them through the choice of a single flooring both for the interior and for the patio.
