Luciano Kruk as Architects

This Project arises from the request of a client to whom we had already done a project for a summer house several years ago, meaning they already knew how our studio worked. This client currently lives in Brazil with his partner developing both a life project based in the production and teaching of pottery, therefore their request was a project for a atelier-house, with both zones well individualized, serving at the same time the living room of the house as a space to expose to the public the ceramics.

The land is located in a semi rural area, outside the little city of Itauna, 80km from Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, the area is mountainous and of lush vegetation, so throughout the lot there are many different species of native trees of high alttitude and other lower vegetation that generated a green screen on the ground.

The project sought to preserve and take advantage of the magnificent vegetation, incorporating it into the interior through three patios located in such a way that they resolve the separation of the various sectors of the program.
