Set on an 820-square-meter sloped site with a 3.5-meter elevation change, the residence emerges from a precise architectural gesture: using the garage level at street elevation as the structural base to create a single expansive living plane above. From this strategy, the entire social and leisure program unfolds on one continuous level, elevated above the street to ensure complete privacy while maintaining openness and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
The living area, positioned 3.5 meters above street level, opens simultaneously toward the front and rear gardens through large retractable glass panels that dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior. The architecture prioritizes spatial fluidity, allowing natural light, ventilation, and vegetation to flow seamlessly throughout the house. The result is a continuous living experience — a residence where indoor spaces naturally extend toward the terraces, pool, and gardens in a quiet and organic way.
Materiality plays a fundamental role in shaping the atmosphere of the project. The steel structure, beyond enabling large spans and a more precise and efficient construction process, brings a sense of lightness to the composition. Its generous cantilevers and deep overhangs reinforce the horizontal character of the architecture while creating shaded transitional spaces that soften sunlight throughout the day. In contrast to the precision of steel, natural wood introduces warmth and tactility, appearing in ceilings, panels, and interior details that envelop the spaces with visual and sensory comfort.
The social area was conceived as a large, permeable, and uninterrupted space, with minimal visible structural elements, enhancing the perception of openness and continuity. Water also assumes a central role in the architectural experience: the pool follows the linear geometry of the house and acts as a visual extension of the living spaces, reflecting light and landscape throughout the day.
On the main level, the suites open directly toward the gardens and leisure areas, strengthening the daily relationship between interior living and the outdoors. Only the master suite occupies the upper floor, strategically positioned to provide greater privacy and expansive panoramic views over the city. Above the living area, a generous rooftop solarium overlooks the urban landscape, transforming the highest point of the residence into a contemplative space where architecture, horizon, and atmosphere converge.
