CCL Residence

Located just a few meters from the beach, in a residential condominium in Ubatuba, on the northern coast of São Paulo, the CCL Residence was designed to be in perfect harmony with the lush nature of the place. With 360m², the project prioritized integration with the environment and the needs of the residents, combining comfort, functionality and energy efficiency. "The great inspiration for this project was the desire to create a house that would be a complete refuge, where nature would always be present and the spaces would provide quality of life for the residents", explains Thiago Pitta, one of the people responsible for the project. 360m², the project prioritized integration with the environment and the needs of the residents, combining comfort, functionality and energy efficiency. The use of natural materials, such as wood and steel, and large spans with articulated shutters, ensures cross ventilation and the use of natural light, respecting the hot and humid tropical climate of Ubatuba. The architectural solution was designed to combat soil humidity, with the house being elevated from the terrain, and the large eaves control direct sunlight and protect against tropical rain.

The social area on the ground floor is a highlight, with integrated spaces, such as the kitchen, living room and gourmet space, which open onto the deck with pool and tropical garden. "The house transforms into a large balcony, connecting residents directly to the surrounding greenery," says Rodrigo. and the tropical garden. The private area of the house was divided into 3 suites on the ground floor, facing the morning sun and with views of the forest. On the upper floor, the couple's master suite was positioned to ensure privacy and a privileged view. "The idea was to create a residence where transparency, comfort and a connection with the landscape were the main elements. The lightness of the roofs and the use of natural materials provide a perfect balance between the volumes and nature", adds Rodrigo Alves Pereira.

The project took 1 year to design and 1 year and a half to execute. The mixed structure of concrete, steel and wood generated the desired lightness, creating a roof with flat panels that, in addition to being aesthetically interesting, allow for natural ventilation and abundant lighting. aesthetically interesting, allow for natural ventilation and abundant lighting.
