The FCAP2 Residence, located in Itamambuca, Ubatuba, is a project designed by Pitta Arquitetura. With a built area of 230m², the house was designed to offer comfort, sophistication and total integration with its natural surroundings. The contemporary design of the residence uses materials such as wood, concrete and glass, creating an elegant contrast between the rusticity of the natural materials and the lightness of the glass surfaces. "Our goal was to create an environment that, in addition to being comfortable and sophisticated, was completely immersed in the nature around it", says Thiago Brunini Pitta.

The structure of the house is predominantly made of exposed concrete, which ensures durability and a modern look, while the wooden frames reinforce the feeling of comfort. "The use of these materials was designed to ensure continuity with the external environment, as if the house were an extension of the garden itself", adds Rodrigo Alves Pereira. The roof follows a functional and light design, with a wooden structure and ceramic tiles, as well as eaves that protect the internal spaces from the sun and rain, allowing efficient cross ventilation.

The colors were chosen to create a timeless and welcoming environment, with neutral tones such as the gray of the concrete, the natural wood, the white and the green of the façade. On the ground floor, the social area is spacious and integrated, with generous spaces and openings that allow natural ventilation and lighting. "We wanted the spaces to connect fluidly, creating an experience of total interaction between the residents and the outside", explains Luíza Querido.

Large sliding doors connect the living room to the deck, gourmet area and pool, creating a fluid transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces. A strategically positioned window increases the transparency of the house and the connection with the garden, in addition to functioning as a bench that connects the living room with the dining room and kitchen, spaces that form a single large social space. Two guest suites complete the ground floor, providing convenience for visitors.

On the upper floor, the house has two suites with a private terrace, offering a privileged view. The project was designed within the concept of contemporary tropical architecture, which emphasizes large spans, integration with the landscape and the use of natural materials. "The project was designed to enhance the local landscape, without sacrificing the functionality and comfort that the residents needed", concludes Thiago Brunini Pitta. With well-defined volumes and a clean design, the residence combines sophistication and functionality in a space that respects and enhances the surrounding environment.

The total project time was 1 year, while the construction lasted 1 year and a half. The FCAP2 Residence stands out as a perfect example of how architecture can be contemporary, functional and at the same time fully integrated with nature, providing a unique experience of coexistence and well-being.
