The access for visitors and patients will be moved to the backside of the existing building. The parking lot, the entrance and the reception desk will be redesigned in order to improve the flow of persons accessing the building. The main extension includes the emergency room, the intensive care unit, the surgical unit as well as laboratories and pharmacy on the lower ground floor. The glass gallery builds the link between the old and the new buildings.
