When designing a health clinic, special attention needs to be given to the waiting room: here, patients waiting for their turn need to feel at ease in a welcoming environment.

This appears to be the perfect setting for the Lounge collection by Lapalma, which combines original and harmonious design solutions with a contemporary style.
Cliníca Dermatológica Internacional is a clinic specialised in skin care and beauty treatments located in the centre of Madrid (Spain).

Furniture by Lapalma was chosen to furnish the large entrance lounge and the waiting rooms opposite the consulting rooms. The project was curated by MINIM Madrid.

At the entrance, the centrepiece is the ADD sofa, a dark grey modular sofa that winds its way through the space in an S-shape configuration. The seating, accessorised with side tables and connecting elements, can accommodate up to 10 people, who can sit comfortably while waiting for their appointment, either reading a book or newspaper, or working on their computer or tablet.To provide more privacy for patients waiting opposite individual consulting rooms, in the small lounges SCREEN partition panels have been included in the tubular wood version, lightly dividing and creating cosy areas. Alongside the SCREEN elements, ADD lounge sofas ensure a comfortable waiting area.
