ClubHouse, designed by GEO_ID, is a membership club that transforms a former gym into a versatile, multifunctional space. ClubHouse’s design is inspired by 1950s mid-century style, combined with modern comfort and contemporary aesthetics. Special furniture pieces, lighting accessories, and objects from our customer’s collection are curated to reflect this style. A hallmark of mid-century furniture is the use of high-quality wood, which contributes to the timeless appeal and versatility of this design style. Inspired by this, polished oak is used on the walls to support the mid-century style and elevate the interior design with its distinct color, grain, and texture. This is complemented by exposed concrete ceilings with a linear cassette system, spotlights, LED lighting niches, and techno-cement floors.
Members enter ClubHouse by descending stairs to a small welcoming desk, with a regular front desk situated on another level. The gym is accessed via a card-accessible system, ensuring separation from the entrance area. This system leads to the changing rooms and shower areas, which then connect to the expansive gym.
ClubHouse is designed to host temporary exhibitions, workshops, experiences, and parties. Some of the walls are half oak-covered and half painted, serving as projection screens or artwork displays without appearing empty when not in use.
The Listening Room features a generous record collection displayed on a gridded shelf system with wall wash LED lighting and a DJ set for parties.
Two facing bars made of green marble cater to different functions—one for food workshops with a fully equipped hidden kitchen behind it, and the other for regular bar use. A long table between the bars serves multiple purposes, including dining, working, and hosting workshops. Green marble details continue on some wall sections within the bar niche.
The lounge area is adaptable for working, eating, socializing, or hosting parties, with various seating options to suit members' preferences. A terrace with glass folding separators blurs the indoor-outdoor boundary, maximizing the exterior view from inside.
The changing rooms blend modern aesthetics with mid-century references in a luxurious style. Black and white ceramic tiles adorn the floors, with black tiles reflecting the boundaries of the ceiling system. Oak wood lockers maintain the overall design language, while modernized mid-century style mirror separators divide the changing area from the hallway leading to the gym.
