C.P. COMPANY Mestrino Outlet

C.P. COMPANY Mestrino Outlet

Correa Granados Architects as Architects

The first CP Company Factory Outlet is located in Mestrino, a strategic commercial position in the heart of the productive north of Italy.

The space is characterized by a neutral grayscale color palette except for the restroom areas which are instead identified by orange coverings.

The sale area color scheme is defined with natural concrete gray floors and ceilings, furnishings and walls in anthracite gray, white and black textured coverings.

Based on the criteria that has always characterized CP Company products - the  “dyeing-on-garment process" - the concept behind the commercial space project is to offer different materials that maintain the same color tone, as happens with the clothes of the brand.

Inside the dressing rooms areas: curtains, upholstery, seating poufs and the dividing walls themselves, despite being the same color, it fades towards different shades of orange according to the material used.

Furthermore, the clear reference to the technical materials used by CP Company in the manufacture of their garments is taken up again through the unusual use of insulating construction materials - used in an inconspicuous way in architecture, but this time taken outside to decorate the spaces: the cash desk and dressing rooms are a clear example.

An open-pore material panels typically used for the acoustic insulation of large machinery, was cut in half on its thickness to highlight the texture of the pores like a large sponge and used like wall cladding on the cash desk area.

The use of a modular free-standing hanging system finished in black powder-coated metal, guarantees flexibility in spaces and at the same time a high storage capacity, a fundamental element for a Factory Outlet.

The selling tables are also designed to display as many products as possible, but at the same time made with materials that accentuate the technological character: the black acoustic panels used as cladding on the drawers below and the black HDF create the ideal contrast on the which make the exposed items stand out.

The unfinished concrete slab ceilings and exposed air conditioning ducts and lighting systems painted white, reminds an industrial architecture that combines perfectly with the CP Company product.

The light system is made by a suspended grid that includes diffuse and spot light as to obtain the maximum color rendering and at the same time a bright and comfortable environment.

This Factory Outlet was designed to guarantee recognizability as well as absolute functionality  to the CP Company brand.
