Crystal Cruises, “Serenity” Luxury Penthouse Suites

In late 2013 the world’s leader in luxury cruising, Crystal Cruise Lines, launched their redesigned The Penthouse Suites. Designed for worldwide cruising, these suites provide an exceptional guest experience, featuring interiors inspired by the flats of London and upscale Manhattan penthouses.

The goal from the outset was to create an atmosphere of contemporary, classic elegance for guests and ultimately further enhance the sophistication and refinement the cruise line is already globally recognized for. Each interior space has been completely reconfigured to highlight the ship’s spectacular views while providing superior guest comfort.

The suites become a home away from home for guests while cruising. The team considered no detail too small during the design processes; everything from technology integration and colour palettes to ergonomic needs and opulent finishings has been taken into account.

Upon entering the suite, guests are greeted by an open concept layout, featuring hand selected marble, classic wood flooring and a neutral color palette all combined to encourage visibility throughout the suite and display the unforgettable ocean vistas to the best advantage. Each suite has been tailored to provide the finest in luxury living, lavish textiles, exclusive plaster crown moldings and classic wall paneling. The traditionally elegant environment is completed by a collection of custom elements exclusively designed for the prestigious suites. Graphic broadloom carpets are complimented by gorgeous modern lighting fixtures and a stunning decorative metal screen that frames the spectacular view.

Guests are drawn into the master bedroom, where we created a more intimate environment through employing premium bedding, lush curtains, and a private seating area. Leading into the spa inspired master bath guests will find a double vanity featuring a television that has been integrated into the mirror, two glass vessel sinks, marble mosaic, and a large spa flotation tub.

No expense was spared in creating these homes away from home.
