The project tries to "revolutionize" (REVOLUTION) how to make the wide distribution through the '' evolution '(EVOLUTION) a way of life and then to make more conscious and sustainable world through a system of selling more human scale and attentive to the welfare of the people.

ARCHITECTURAL. The main feature of the project is the flexibility in the use of spaces that are going to achieve. I speak of spaces within the built volume because we have obtained several rooms (boxes / rooms) that humanize the customer / vendor differentiating functions and allowing a more intimate enjoyment. Flexibility is a key feature for retail sale, which must in time be able to adapt its offerings to the needs of customers, the fashions and products evolving. Hence the choice of a building artefact obtained by aggregation of solids which change depending on the needs of the sales point. Indeed, they can now change only moderately well with the arrangement of furniture, display units or departments. The requirements, however, may change in the long run and it is therefore possible to imagine the need for any volumetric expansions without jeopardizing the composition as a whole, already thought to aggregation of solids. The choice that has intentionally relinquished a very attractive architectural gesture, or maybe even futuristic, but it often threatens to sacrifice the real needs of a modern business forcing the content to conform to the container and not vice versa, as they believe it should be. It has therefore opted for an architectural image more flexible, less rigid and designed, less impact visually, but still recognizable and non-trivial and, above all respectful of the environment and landscape. The structure that is part of the size of the notice (32.5 m x 29m) to a height of 10.50 m going to define a virtual parallelepiped in which are inscribed large load-bearing columns, the volume thus obtained is then decomposed by subtraction-addition of further parallelepipeds resulting in more dynamic, but preserving the total area required. The large main volume thus defined, however, occupies only the first 6 meters of the height available, the remaining volume (from an altitude of +6.00 to +10.00) is used to derive a further covered area on which are placed more "boxes" of different size (to be quantified at will depending on what you have to host) around a large figure at the center of gravity well of light. The above cover is provided with a main building with clay tiles, wood beams and laminated metal structure above in support of photovoltaic glass panels with slope of 10% as required by the notice. Externally the building is intended to strengthen the formal nature of the "boxes" on the first floor so that you are replicating inside the square to contain shopping carts, recycling bins, refills auto / electric bikes, the areas of equipped parking spaces for outdoor kids, etc.. ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY-' The building, in the spirit of "Evolution" of the project, try to pick the best technology now used to arrive at a building at a very high yield with a high reduction of CO2 emissions. We will do a great attention to the casing as described above, also in view of exposure of the various fronts and the relative positioning of the transparent surfaces so as to increase the performance passive building. Below are listed the main features are: Energy production: Coverage in addition to ensuring the safety of the building from the elements, ensures a consistent supply of energy so summarized: Calculation assumptions made photovoltaic Vipiteno: kWp installed: approximately 140 Production per kWp installed: 1,302 kWh Annual production: 182,280 kWh CO2 into the atmosphere per year: 140 tonnes Oil burned in less than a year: 490 barrels Rainwater: The large roof to collect rain water through a large section steel columns that convey useful rainfall in large cisterns for irrigation of green and cassette toilet. Ventilation: Integration of natural and hybrid ventilation with ventilation chimneys construction pillars, reducing air flow handled and control CO2, heat recovery from exhaust air from the system, low diffusion rate of air, noise reduction and adoption of Building Automation Control System . Air conditioning in summer: Natural ventilation and night-time hybrid that uses columns / vent fireplaces, free cooling, precise control of solar radiation and shading of transparent enclosures, creation of specific plants on the different functions and flow of outside air being adjusted to the olfactory and respiratory obviously all with heat recovery, high thermal insulation with insulating with high values ​​of phase shift of the thermal wave, buried pipes for pre-cooling geothermal air Winter conditioning / heating: High thermal insulation of opaque and transparent rationalization of the positioning of the housing (little openings in the north), monozona facility dedicated to the ground floor and first floor of the operating areas, control of operating temperatures, air flow rate adjusted external welfare olfactory and respiratory systems, of course all with heat recovery. The heating of the stock will be obtained with the recovery of the heat produced by the refrigeration circuit. Food refrigeration: Positioning devices away from sources of heat / irraggiamnto, fresh produce stalls with closed doors, desks LED lighting, heat recovery condensing integrated heating system and domestic hot water production, use of environmentally friendly refrigerant (CO2) to Bt plant, equipment low consumption. Lighting: quality control of natural light (if any shielding), and integration with artificial lighting with low consumption (LED and / or fluorescent generation) with dimming systems. All broadening the perception of the outdoors. MATERIALS The materials that are used are mainly spruce (read Despar logo!) For the construction of the various boxes (real walls to dry with natural insulators with high values ​​of the thermal wave phase shift as a wool / wood fiber ) and the structure of the photovoltaic roof made of laminated beams coupled (and if desired also the ground floor and first floor). The casing of the ground floor is designed with prefabricated structures in concrete with a thermal break in predalles horizontal elements, in order to allow a substantial reduction of costs and maintenance over time (alternatively, however, would be very welcome an envelope completely dry in spruce maybe bleached slab of laminated beams). In the spirit of mountain architecture would also be very attractive the use of stone throughout the enclosure of the ground floor, but since the increase in cost and time of execution does not dare to propose it as an economically viable alternative to ordinary business operations. The pillars supporting the ceiling beams and laminated glulam will be made of steel and held dual function: ventilation chimneys for natural air circulation (peripheral ones) and collecting rainwater in underground cistern for rainwater recovery ( those most barycentric). The windows are made with triple glazing and low emissivity for superior performance. Aprons are made with recycled materials and paving drainage, the boxes door trolleys, bicycles, auto refills / electric bikes, etc ... will be made of spruce wood. Alternatives imaginative textures: concrete base could be complemented with alternative themed murals created at the initiative of associations in the area. 2. The boxes on the first floor (in a pop language) may be lined with giant images of products on sale so do most obvious effect FEASIBILITY ' Please refer to a more careful economic analysis of the project, but already it is believed that the action more attentive to the needs of economic feasibility. It has in fact sought innovative solutions applied current building now widely available at a very affordable cost for an intervention of this kind, which in the current economic downturn can not be taken into account. Also, as mentioned above, the intervention is easily replicable with similar characteristics, but differ in size (more or less) of existing buildings, or of next realization of the chain Despar. The precast reinforced concrete structures are widely available and cheaper as well as benefit from the construction and assembly time very short. The laminated wood structures are also now available and equally quick to mount even more in the South Tyrolean full of skilled workers, as well as drywall and wood fibers, suitably impregnated with different colorings as designed. Just keep looking for that would be included for the enclosure of the ground floor (in the first instance proposed precast concrete) with a view to an even more sustainable. The roof and pillars with steel frames are easy to feasibility at reasonable prices, as well as doors, windows and solar panels. The timing of implementation will therefore provide short-medium term.
