It is an apartment on the penultimate and top floor of a building surrounded by greenery in Milan. The clients are a young family of four, very attentive to detail.

The eighth floor is the main apartment, approximately 120sqm large, ideally divided into two areas (night and day) in the longitudinal direction, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a laundry room, a living room and a kitchen. The living room is a large room marked on one side by large window openings and on the other by a library-wardrobe system that runs the entire length of the living room which also includes the door that gives access to the „sleeping area“. In the back wall decorated with a wallpaper with a pixel effect, the staircase, designed and created taylormade, leads off to the upper floor. The staircase is in white and natural colored lacquered wood.

On the opposite side of the staircase is the kitchen, divided from the living room by a transparent taylormade glass wall, with black painted iron profiles. The kitchen is all white designed as a bright and ethereal background: all the elements are white, from the lights suspended on the white table to the chairs.

The flooring of the apartment on the eighth floor is entirely and uniformly made of large planks of slightly darkened oak. The bathrooms have textured tiles in shades of gray and rhomboid or lozenge shapes emphasized in some cases by the use of colored grouts. The upper floor was designed as a small independent unit, since it is also accessible from the condominium staircase. A small attic of 60 square meters with an equally large terrace in which there is a kitchen open to the living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The attic has a large window that opens onto the terrace, dilating the internal space and transforming it into a continuum between inside and outside. The flooring chosen for this floor is a large-size stone effect tile that is the same both inside and outside.
