The project and the work, carried out by the architects Verónica Durán Sela and José María Cabezudo Onzain, has aimed to rehabilitate the office building located on Marqués de San Esteban Street nº21, in order to transform it into a residential complex of 38 homes, with garages on the ground floor.

The intervention is conceived from a contemporary vision, but maintaining a deep respect for the architectural and spatial values of the original project, the work of the architects Juan Manuel del Busto and Miguel Diaz y Negrete.

The project pursues the revitalization of the property through the conservation of its most significant elements, combined with the incorporation of new uses and functional solutions that allow adapting the building to residential needs Current.

The building, with a U-shaped floor, has a characteristic access patio, whose original pavement has been recovered. When crossing this courtyard you access the main vestibule of double height, presided over by an imperial staircase, which has also been restored and enhanced by a light design that highlights its spatial value.
