Etiler House is a garden-floor flat in Etiler, a lively residential neighbourhood of Istanbul.

The design starts from the way the clients live day to day.

The 100 m² flat is surrounded by a generous garden that fills the interior with light and green.

The entrance, kitchen and living room form one open plan. To bring in more space and light, the kitchen walls were partly removed and replaced with steel-framed glass doors.

The master bedroom has its own bathroom and walk-in closet. The bright study has a small kitchenette and direct access to the garden.

A single language ties the rooms together: the white wall panelling continues as cabinetry in the dressing room.

Every room is furnished with pieces custom designed by escapefromsofa. A pastel palette, wood and marble are combined with brass details and fine fabrics.
