By using a trace of the existing factory facade, this new design distorts and shifts the elevation into a new, yet familiar, building. The active pattern gives the 2d facade a 3d effect of multiple layered surfaces in various spatial dimensions. What was once ordinary and mundane becomes slyly dynamic.
