However, with the pandemic, the focus has shifted towards designs that not only serve a purpose but also improve our emotional and physical well-being. This stunning floral boutique and café designed by Designsmith, a Dubai-based interior design and build studio, takes a holistic approach to create a positive and balanced environment.

The boutique’s design is a unique departure from traditional elements, with the incorporation of organic, free-flowing shapes and clean lines that create a feeling of playfulness and gentleness.

One of the most striking elements of the design is the curves that serve a dual purpose: they add movement and creative zones while also serving as furniture and load-bearing walls. The interior is punctuated with arches, niches, and doorways, all featuring built-in storage and furniture crafted by local artisans, highlighting the use of locally sourced materials.

Abundant natural light streams in through the boutique’s large windows, adding vibrancy and inviting the beauty of nature indoors. To complement this aesthetic, earthy materials are incorporated throughout the design, including reclaimed and unfinished woods and stones, rather than modern materials like metal, plastic, or synthetic fibers.

The space is accessorised with purposeful pieces such as rugs, pillows, throws, upholstery, and vases that add depth and interest while encouraging eye movement throughout the space.
