The building, has a heavily sloping basement of dark brown brick with a lightweight wooden truss structure on top. The architect searched for an atmosphere that refers to a clubhouse. Besides a storage function for the vehicles, the station also feature an important meeting function for the corps members. In order to talk about some impressive turn outs, but also for other activities. The design is also realized in close cooperation with the corps and its members. During the enforcement, firemen and -women remained involved in the project.
