The house is situated on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful lakes of Guatapé and La Piedra del Peńol. Embracing the topography, lifestyle, and culture of the surrounding area. The residence boasts logistical and technical resources that Schenkar construction were able to execute despite the challenges of building a magnitude of a house on a hill. The panoramic views as soon as you enter the residence almost makes you forget that you are inside an architectural masterpiece; a true abode that meshed with the breathtaking scenery.
Schenkar Luxury Homes goal was to bring a notable vision to the region to create a community enriched sustainable building dynamic. The successful completion of this project was to demonstrate three primary goals:
Building Technique: Introduce dynamic building techniques that included technical structural, civil and geo-technical engineering advanced methods to be shared with the community for safe house construction. The goal was to share these advanced techniques to demonstrate safely engineered and code compliant buildings by way of the IBC ( International Building Code) . These techniques create correctly built and safe standards for preventative measures against a landslide prone region to enhance community understanding and sustainable housing techniques.
Job Creation and technical training of local and regional trade professionals. We employed over 1700+ professionals throughout the town, regions and surrounding larger cities of Medellin, Bogota and Cartagena. We worked hand in hand with these local resources to create employment opportunities to enrich the community.
Charitable Donation: Donate, steel, concrete and other materials to build roads and to further expand local professionals’ knowledge and understanding of advanced techniques in geo-technical stability and safe house building.
