A renovation project of an unusually shaped crescent-plan terraced house aimed at enhancing both functionality and spatial clarity. The original layout posed challenges due to its atypical geometry, which limited natural light and efficient circulation. The redesign addressed these issues by opening the façade towards the garden, allowing for stronger visual and physical connections with the outdoor space.
The main entrance was relocated to improve accessibility and create a more intuitive flow through the house. A new staircase was introduced as a key architectural element, redefining vertical circulation and organizing the internal layout. The interior design was comprehensively rethought to unify the spaces and maximize usability.
Additional interventions included the introduction of green walls, bringing natural elements into the living environment, and a lightweight glass enclosure on the terrace side, which enhances daylight while maintaining a subtle, modern aesthetic. Altogether, the transformation redefines the building into a more functional, comfortable, and contemporary home, better suited to everyday living.
