Studio 74 ram has carried out a major renovation of an industrial building, transforming it into a residential project.
The former bakery thus becomes a dwelling that shares a garden and swimming pool with two other households.

After an initial filter zone, from which there is also access to the garage and technical rooms, one enters the heart of the flat, where on the first level one encounters the public area in direct contact with the garden and the patio overlooking the infinity pool.
The large kitchen consists of a more technical area, intended for food preparation, mostly open to the patio and living area, together with a more intimate one, designed for eating meals next to the large brick fireplace. This area is emphasised by the decorations on the concrete floor and the coffered ceiling designed by the architect.

The living room is also divided into several zones thanks to the arrangement of the furniture. Here the double height allows the eye to embrace the entire volume of the building, appreciating its generous original dimensions.
A scenographic iron and glass chandelier descends on the table, emphasised by a long teak-patterned wall that acts as a backdrop and is revealed by the movement of the doors, which allow passage to the study.

In the lowered area, on the other hand, there is the relaxation zone facing the imposing sandstone fireplace and the TV wall covered in raw earth.
The functions of the first level are completed by a laundry room and a large bathroom clad in microcement.

On the second level, a large space overlooking the living area houses an indoor garden, which dialogues with the outdoor garden.

The children’s rooms, completely mirrored with custom-made furniture and matching bathrooms, share a small balcony overlooking the garden.
The master bedroom, on the other hand, consists of a large space with a walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom complete with hammam.

Here, a corner balcony not only overlooks the garden and the surrounding hills, but also invades the double height with a sort of concave bow window, allowing views into the first level. This allows the living room to enjoy an unusual transverse view of the sky.

The spaces conserve some characteristics of their industrial past, such as the squared envelope, the large openings, the type of fixtures, and some materials such as concrete, while adapting them to the needs of the new users.
