Santa Maria Ligure is a refined jewel between Rapallo and the promontory of Portofino, in the innermost part of the Gulf of Tigullio. The Santa Margherita Palace is one of its most precious stones: a new five-star hotel born from the skilful renovation of a historic nineteenth century building.
In perfect harmony with the environment and with the sober lines of the building, the porcelain stoneware wood effect ceramic is the main theme throughout the hotel, starting from the elegant walkway leading to the entrance, covered with 15x90 boards of the collection in Soul wood effect porcelain stoneware, in the Blend shade: the structured finish and the marked graphic details of the surface combine great functionality with an aesthetic result of strong impact.
It is still the warmth and naturalness of the Soul wood effect porcelain stoneware boards that lead us into the elegant hotel rooms: the bright Pearl shade, used for the floors, has a touch of grace with the hand-crafted furnishings and accessories, in a set of contrasts between light tones and dark details, which is also found in the entire project.
In the bathrooms - those in the rooms and those present in the wellness areas - the dominant material is stone, with the richness of its details and the variety of its designs. The walls covered with 30x60 elements of the In & Out Percorsi Extra stone effect porcelain stoneware collection reproduce the subtlety of Pietra di Vals; those of the Element Lux collection, in Silver Grey and glossy black, crossed by white veins, reproduce Port Laurent, a precious and refined marble effect porcelain stoneware.
The spa area, with its indoor pool, is covered with the enveloping Anthracite shade of the Back collection, a stone effect porcelain stoneware that mixes the features of Belgian Stone with an original and contemporary design.
Other stones for some outdoor spaces. The 30x60 elements of the Source collection, here in the Grey shade, cover floors and walls with sobriety: the 20 mm thickness guarantees beauty and great resistance all year round.
