HOUSE FR

ZIM Arquitextura as Architects

Achieving family and home spaces is always a new challenge, each family is unique, it is a world of its own. Juan and Belu are two people who enjoy their family, their children and their friends. We looked for from the beginning that each corner of the house expressed its way of living. The key concepts of part of them were:

- RECEIVE PEOPLE

- LIVING NATURE

- INVITE TO GET JOINED

- LIVE THE FIRE AS AN ENCOUNTER

CONCEPT: THE YIN YAN

There are two very clear ideas: That of being open to others and receiving and of meeting in a more closed space of trust and intimacy.

These two ideas are OPPOSITE and COMPLEMENTARY, as in the YIN YANG, which are two opposite energies that are needed and complemented, the existence of one depends on the existence of the other. It is a symbol of harmony for the balance produced by the interaction of the two energies.

These ideas are expressed throughout the house, mainly in the living room that opens completely to the green of the garden and creates a unique place with a fire in a corner of the gallery. The green is not only lived from the garden, but in the main access of the house was thought of as a green entrance courtyard that links nature at the entrance of the house with the main living.

As for its implementation, the house knows how to take advantage of an unconventional terrain in the shape of a triangle, the ground floor being the most important place in the house, it copies the shape of the land to appropriate it. On the other hand, the upper floor, simpler and more volumetric, contains the private part of the house, which are the bedrooms.

PATIO OF ACCESS-GREEN AND WATER

It is a place that represents the intention of Juan and Belu to integrate the green to the house, opening that space in the access full of life and light. A space full of vegetation that receives water from the rain openly.

FIRE

Faced through the main space of the house, living-dining room, to the patio with green and water is the FIRE. A place of meeting and intimacy, tailored to their owners, OWN them.
