The house develops through a separate entrance and a large living room with separate sleeping area and attached bathroom on a mezzanine floor of a few steps. The living area, designed as a single open space where kitchen, dining and living areas coexist in a single large room, relates to the garden through a large window, creating an ideal extension to the outside. The character of the new residence is determined by the strong contrast of a few colors and by the different rough and smooth surfaces. The living room is dominated by the dark gray scratched "monolith" of the fireplace which rests on an extended step of the resin treated staircase leading to the sleeping area. The bedroom is designed according to a more intimate and compact configuration and is characterized by the dark gray wall that forms the background of the white headboard of the white bed. In the same way, the strong color contrast is also taken up in the bathroom, enhancing the furnishings.
