Two multi-unit buildings were to be constructed on a very narrow, elongated plot of land for an investor. No developer architecture, but nevertheless exceptionally and modernly designed.
In order to maximise the living space, we extended additional structures over two and one storeys respectively, like drawers protruding from the main building.
This created two staggered residential buildings in a very confined space, which nevertheless offer a certain spaciousness and special quality of living thanks to the roof terraces on the flat-roofed structures.
The materials used alternate between wood and plaster to visually emphasise the staggered design and drawer system.
