The Hylia project stems from the encounter between matter (from the Greek Hyle) and the path (from the Latin Via).
Conceived as a modern refuge for two young professionals seeking quiet and concentration, this home transforms everyday space into an experience defined by aesthetics and reflection.
The architectural narrative begins at the very entrance, dominated by an imposing,
custom-made, floor-to-ceiling wooden bookcase.

More than a mere piece of furniture, this substantial volume acts as a true theatrical backdrop that safeguards the owners’ passions. At its center opens a large void: a clean and generous portal that, rather than concealing the passage, fluidly invites you into the heart of the home.
Once across this threshold, the corridor transcends its role as a simple transit area. Through the use of wallpaper featuring delicate organic graphics, the environment is transformed into an immersive and relaxing passage—a visual transition that gently guides you toward the tranquility of the private rooms.
The rest of the residence is designed as an intimate nest, shielded from outside distractions.

Each space is tailored to provide areas dedicated to individual focus, with lighting precisely calibrated to highlight nooks meant for studying and reading.
The color palette shuns monotony, favoring an elegant dialogue between muted tones and striking contrasts that bring distinct character to every room.
In Hylia, the clarity of the design approach meets the warmth of a safe haven, creating an atmosphere that is suspended, welcoming, and profound.
