The Interior Tower is a striking commercial building located at the entrance of the A22 motorway near Brixen. Designed as a landmark for the surrounding industrial area, the building combines office, showroom, and design-related functions within a compact vertical structure.

The architecture is defined by a dynamic façade system made of expanded metal, shaped in a three-dimensional wave pattern. This outer skin wraps around the building like a continuous layer, creating a changing play of light and shadow while ensuring natural ventilation and thermal protection.

Behind the semi-transparent metal envelope lies a glass façade that enhances transparency and depth. The layered façade concept allows controlled daylight penetration while maintaining a strong architectural identity.

Metall Ritten was responsible for the execution of the façade systems, steel substructure, and custom metal construction. The project required high precision due to the complex geometry and the integration of functional façade elements such as operable sections and tenant-specific adaptations.

The result is a technically refined and visually expressive building that acts as a recognizable gateway to the region.
