The new wine shop and architectural extension of the Kurtatsch winery combines contemporary design with the dramatic Alpine landscape of South Tyrol. The building is defined by its sculptural concrete façade elements, large-scale glazing, and a clear architectural dialogue between interior and exterior space.
A key feature of the project is the façade system with folded concrete panels, combined with custom-made glass elements that open the building towards the surrounding vineyards and the valley landscape. The large glass surfaces, partially integrated flush into the structure, create seamless transitions between inside and outside.
Inside, warm wooden surfaces contrast with the mineral character of concrete and glass, generating a balanced spatial atmosphere. The architecture emphasizes openness, light, and visual continuity, framing panoramic views of the South Tyrolean landscape.
