Here is the result of a new project in Karlsruhe designed by Japan-Garten-Kultur GmbH und KOKENIWA Japanische Gartengestaltung. Two areas of a formal garden have been redesigned using Japanese garden art. The end result is two dry landscape gardens (KARESANSUI) of different characteristics. One is located in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen and living area (sun - partial shade) and the other in the area of a sun terrace. Therefore, one is designed as a moss garden and the other is determined by a form bush landscape (KARIKOMI). The defining elements in both gardens are Garden Bonsai (NIWAKI). In Moss garden an existing work of art was repositioned and set into scene. Unfortunately, the existing cherry could not be saved because it was attacked by a fungus.
