The interior design shows up as an element of communication, gathering, conversation and motion in a newly built 120sqm apartment, in an Athenian suburb.
The central design element refers to the dark-colored composition of the kitchen, which transforms into a social area, giving birth to the new life of this private residence. Thus, from the beginning, the entrance accommodates a dual use - that of the welcoming, but at the same time the use of preparing events, interacting and contacting with the owner of the apartment.
Borrowing the same principles, all the primary and auxiliary spaces are characterized by color contrasts drawn from the dominant material palette.
The master bedroom in sequence, has a central point that distributes all motions within the room, while simultaneously operates as a storage space. The bathrooms’ aesthetics (master and guest),are lined with textures that reflect the urban contemporary design of the apartment. Wardrobes and storage spaces fully resemble the white canvas of the masonry, meeting the functional needs of the user.
All carpentry elements are visually and aesthetically connected with the oak timber floor. In addition, the architectural and decorative lighting goes hand in hand with the architectural qualities of the apartment, producing atmospheric scenarios.
