Set within the lush landscape of Kemer Country, K81 Villa is a three-storey, 1,000-square-metre residence reimagined by Habif Architecture through a comprehensive interior architecture and build process. Designed for a family of four, the project explores the relationship between materiality, light and everyday living, resulting in an interior that feels calm, tactile and enduring.
Rather than responding to fleeting trends, the design embraces longevity. Minimalism is not treated as an exercise in restraint, but as a design approach rooted in material honesty, balanced proportions and subtle tactile contrasts.Every intervention was guided by the ambition to create a home that will evolve gracefully over time rather than date with it.
A restrained material palette of natural oak, travertine, selected marbles and finely detailed stainless steel establishes a quiet architectural language throughout the house. Soft mineral surfaces and warm timber tones capture the changing daylight, allowing textures and shadows to animate the interiors over the course of the day. The materials were chosen not only for their visual qualities, but for the richness they acquire through use and age.
The sculptural staircase forms the conceptual and physical centre of the project. Its flowing geometry introduces a sense of movement within the otherwise restrained composition, transforming a functional circulation element into the home's defining architectural feature. Gentle curves soften the orthogonal architecture, lending the interior a contemporary yet unexpectedly romantic character while visually connecting all three floors.
Spatial planning prioritises openness without sacrificing intimacy. Living, dining and family spaces unfold as a continuous sequence, encouraging interaction while maintaining a sense of calm. Full-height glazing strengthens the relationship between the interior and the surrounding landscape, allowing natural light to become an active architectural element rather than simply illuminating the space.
Throughout the villa, bespoke joinery and integrated storage solutions reinforce the architecture's clarity, while a carefully curated selection of furniture, artworks and objects adds depth without disrupting the overall composition. The interior is intentionally understated, allowing proportions, craftsmanship and material expression to take precedence over decoration.
Rather than relying on statement gestures, K81 Villa finds its identity through restraint, precision and atmosphere. It was conceived as a home where architecture quietly supports everyday life, where materials become richer with time, and where changing daylight continually reshapes the perception of space. In this sense K81 Villa was conceived as the spatial expression of a timeless way of living, one that values permanence over novelty, warmth over excess, and quiet refinement over spectacle.
