The installation is based on the phrase "Everyone wants not to live somehow", which is a quote from Dorota Maslowska's acclaimed drama "Między Nami Dobrze Jest" ("All Good Between Us").

The message is constructed on wordplay. The original quote has been treated as a sort of anti-palindrome: a sentence that, when read backwards, takes on an opposite meaning.

Everyone wants not to live somehow. To live not somehow everybody wants ("Każdy chce jakoś nie żyć. Żyć nie jakoś chce każdy").

However, when the contradiction originally used by the Writer is "reflected in a mirror", it produces a similarly grotesque statement. Seemingly opposing sentences turn out to mean, in essence, the same thing, which boils down to the daily struggle of existence. Also, words are emphasized by giving the text the form of a calligram. They are arranged in the shape of an hourglass: representing the change in attitude towards life, as time passes.
