This landmark 22-story office development was designed as an exercise in sculptural abstraction, avoiding any overt reference to regional motifs. The building dramatically transforms from different vantage points, allowing for multivalent impressions and interpretations of its shape. The client cum future tenant presented the challenge of an urgent move-in date at the project’s inception, occasioning the development of an innovative “top down” design scheme, which expedited the construction process and shaved six months off the original schedule.
