Prefabricated Mediterranean-style house in Barcelona, completely custom-designed, which stands out for its large, illuminated overhang. It also has the most significant characteristics of pure Mediterranean style with the following materials: natural stone cladding, white monolayer and technological wood.
A two-storey modular house in the shape of an L, which has a total of 200 m². Its distribution with the presence of the cantilever allows the house to have several different views of the surroundings of the house, as well as generating privacy in specific areas.
The house, with an impressive area of 200 m², has unique features, including a spacious porch that emerges onto the terrace without the need for visible supports. In addition, it is distinguished by terraces on all the roofs of the building, enhancing its connection with the surroundings.
The building is supported by a modular basement, built entirely in masonry.
On entering the ground floor, visitors are welcomed by a modestly sized entrance hall, to the right of which is a bathroom. As one enters the space, a fluid sequence unfolds, encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen in an open-plan layout. This layout promotes a sense of spaciousness in all areas and facilitates interaction between them. From this floor, there is access to the courtyard which houses a swimming pool, providing an outdoor environment for recreation and relaxation.
The upper floor is accessed via a staircase where the sleeping area is located. This sleeping area comprises a master suite and two complete single bedrooms. The upper floor also houses the impressive terrace that spans the entire roof area, providing a privileged outdoor space for various activities and contemplation.
This luxury modular home features details in several corners that add a touch of distinction. One of them is the presence of natural stone on the walls and interior spaces of the house. For this, it has been essential to deepen the interior design project of the house, playing with the views of the environment, the lights and shadows, but above all, the materials.
We are welcomed into the house by a spectacular pivoting wooden door, which contrasts with the stone of the façade. Inside, we find an open-plan living room where the wooden panelling takes centre stage. In addition, the colours that characterise the interior design project are also Mediterranean, highlighting colours that imitate the earth.
Inside, we can see how design elements stand out, such as the floor-to-ceiling doors. The owners of this industrialised house wanted to take care of the smallest detail in the design of their home and at inHAUS we got involved to the maximum so that the design was up to the mark.
