In the heart of Via Montenapoleone, where luxury takes on the most iconic form of Milanese tradition, Maison Antoine unveils its jewel-like salon: an immersive, radically contemporary space designed by Nick Maltese Studio. The result is an immersive space that reinterprets the Italian salons of the 1970s, transforming them into a multisensory experience.
The project reinterprets the Italian salons of the 1960s and ’70s through a contemporary gaze, transforming them into a vibrant, sophisticated refuge rich in contrasts. Material takes centre stage with a bold gesture: a super-glossy burgundy lacquer, chosen as the project’s signature colour, wraps sculptural bespoke furnishings and pays homage to Italian interiors. Its shine creates deep, enveloping reflections, amplified by glass tiles that modulate light, multiply perspectives and introduce a theatrical sense of depth. Every element contributes to the construction of a precise aesthetic narrative, where nothing is merely decorative and everything is expressive.
The project works on contrasts, on visual tension, on the ability of light to travel across surfaces and evoke emotion: reflections, glimmers, transparencies. Maison Antoine conveys a sense of cultivated, understated luxury, built through the precision of detail and the balance between solids and voids.
