The FLOS Taccia: A Timeless Piece of Design

The FLOS Taccia is a timeless piece of design that has become an icon in the world of lighting. Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962, the Taccia is a table lamp that features a unique bowl-shaped reflector that sits on top of a tall stem. The lamp has a sleek and minimalist design that makes it a perfect addition to any modern or contemporary interior.

Design and Features

The FLOS Taccia has a distinctive design that is both elegant and functional. The lamp consists of two main components: the bowl-shaped reflector and the stem. The reflector is made of spun aluminum and has a white interior that reflects light in all directions. The stem is made of painted steel and features a unique curved shape that adds to the lamp's overall elegance.

The Taccia is available in two sizes: a small version that stands at 45cm tall and a larger version that stands at 65cm tall. The lamp is available in three different finishes: black, silver, and anodized bronze. The lamp also features a dimmer switch that allows you to adjust the brightness of the light to your liking.

One of the standout features of the FLOS Taccia is its ability to produce a soft and diffused light. The bowl-shaped reflector helps to distribute light evenly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in any room. The lamp is also energy-efficient, as it uses LED technology that consumes less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs.
