Due to the success of Mare Seafood, the shop wants to expand its space by utilizing the adjacent area and the central area at the back of the shop, which is connected to the walkway. The expansion includes renovating the shop and introducing a new concept that not only sells seafood but also includes meat.
The designers need to create a new design for the Mare Seafood shop under the new concept called "Mare and Manso," which translates to "Sea and Meat" in Latin and Italian, respectively. This concept represents the juxtaposition of two contrasting elements that need to be merged together.
Designing in a small space challenges designers to showcase creativity and craftsmanship with precision.
The designer used blue and red colors to separate the Mare and Manso sides in the same area. Copper was used for details in both zones. The ceiling has a graphic pattern resembling ocean waves on Mare side and meat texture . Attention to detail creates a special experience for restaurant visitors.
