Modern-Shed, the company behind the original backyard studio, is excited to introduce Modern-Shed Outdoor, a new concept in outdoor living. Modern-Shed Outdoor is a system of creative and cost-effective solutions to complete the outdoor living experience. The new line of outdoor lifestyle products and solutions is a continuation of Modern-Shed’s original mission to simplify life.

Modern-Shed launched in 2005 to fulfill a need for intelligently designed, functional, and cost-effective space solutions that are more an extension of the home than a typical outdoor garden shed. The prefabricated structures can be used for any number of purposes such as a home office, guest cottage, art studio or fitness room. The variety of custom options and additional components allows every Modern-Shed owner to create their own unique space.

This year, Modern-Shed is going beyond the structure with Modern-Shed Outdoor. The company will introduce a series of new outdoor concepts to complete the outdoor living experience including modular kitchen solutions and furniture. Similar to Modern-Shed, customers will be able to create their own custom kitchen configurations to accommodate a sink, grill, burner or storage. Modern-Shed Outdoor will also introduce a new piece of furniture: the Piknik Table. The outdoor table features steel legs handmade in France by Piknik and a wood table top at an accessible price point.

In addition to outdoor concepts, Modern-Shed also wants to get more involved in the design conversation by helping customers with patio planning and configuration. Every offering from Modern-Shed Outdoor is intended to bring the indoor living experience outside with well designed, affordably priced solutions.

Modern-Shed Outdoor debut its first kitchen concept model in partnership with Sub-Zero and Wolf at Dwell on Design June 24-26 in Los Angeles.
