Set along the pristine waterfront of Nareel Island, Abu Dhabi, this private beachfront residence was envisioned as a seamless extension of its coastal setting. Designed by Plenerr, the landscape creates a refined balance between architecture, nature, and the ever-changing horizon of the Arabian Gulf.
The design approach focuses on framing views, enhancing outdoor living, and establishing a strong connection between the villa and the sea. Layered planting, shaded garden spaces, intimate courtyards, and resort-style outdoor amenities are carefully composed to provide a sense of privacy while celebrating the property’s exceptional waterfront location.
A series of outdoor experiences unfolds throughout the estate, from the grand arrival sequence and formal entrance gardens to beachfront terraces, infinity-edge pools, firepit lounges, family recreation spaces, and tranquil retreats immersed within lush planting. Native and climate-adapted species were selected to create a resilient landscape that delivers year-round character while softening the scale of the architecture.
The result is a contemporary coastal sanctuary where landscape and architecture work together to create an elegant, timeless living environment. Every space is designed to maximize comfort, views, and connection to nature, transforming the waterfront setting into a private resort experience for everyday life.
