Concept

Located on Raha Island beside the existing Old Gateway Building, the Edge residential complex was envisioned as a contemporary landmark marking the entry to the semi-island. The design task was to create a tower that merges urban sophistication with coastal serenity, forming a seamless dialogue between the built environment and the lagoon.

The building reinterprets coastal living through rhythm and layered geometry. Sharp slab edges and staggered balconies create a dynamic silhouette and frame views toward the lagoon. Corner apartments evoke yacht-like terraces with sweeping panoramas, while ground-level chalets open directly onto the waterfront for the most immersive experience. The podium anchors the development with landscaped terraces, an infinity pool, gym, clubhouse, and children’s play area — spaces that foster both community and calm. More intimate spaces are oriented to capture natural light and vistas, shaping a landmark where movement, geometry, and tranquility converge.

Upon arrival, the lounge and clubhouse are united into one layered space as the lobby that captures the project’s “Urban Pulse.” The game and communal areas sit a step higher, creating spatial distinction while maintaining visual connection. Cement finishes, copper-toned metal mesh, and soft mocha accents balance urban energy with a touch of warmth.
