Beyond the Architecture: Unveiling the NOM House Interior Design

SENCE ARCHITECTS as Architects

In the preceding year, we unveiled our architectural vision for the NOM house situated in Limassol, Cyprus.

We're thrilled to now reveal the interior aesthetics of this domicile!

Our strategy focused on amplifying natural illumination, thus intensifying the abode's sense of spaciousness. This was accomplished through the use of a light color scheme on both walls and floors, establishing a serene setting conducive to domestic life.

The design of the living area marries minimalism with elegance. The kitchen, characterized by its neat lines, merges flawlessly into the ample living space. A distinctive aspect of this design is a transformative mechanism that allows for the conversion of the area from an open to a closed environment, catering to the need for both seclusion and openness as preferred. The interior is replete with natural elements: wood infuses warmth into each chamber, while the microcement flooring lends a contemporary chicness. Stone components provide a grounding effect, introducing an organic flair to the modern dwelling.

Furnishings were meticulously chosen for their comfort and visual appeal, featuring soft textiles and a palette of neutral hues. In lieu of a conventional television, a projector was selected, imbuing the living area with a modern cinematic ambiance. The fireplace is adorned with a curved metal shelf for storing firewood, which is as practical as it is aesthetically pleasing.

The upper level houses the master bedroom and a bedroom tailored for a teenage girl. The master suite is a sanctuary of tranquility, distinguished by a wall of glass blocks that subtly demarcates it from the en suite bathroom. This secluded enclave is bathed in contemporary terracotta colors with dark fixtures, crafting an ambience of luxury and serenity.

The teenager's bedroom is rendered in gentle milky hues with nuanced touches of light blue and pink, offering a spacious and contemporary sphere for creativity.

The NOM house's interior was conceived not merely for visual appreciation but for actual living, forging an atmosphere where each moment is enveloped in comfort and elegance.
