Client brief
One Za'abeel contracted Sneha Divias Atelier to create a symbol of elevated living for potential buyers reflecting the contemporary grandeur of the building and the ultimate address for modern urban citizens. Sneha Divias Atelier was given considerable creative freedom to enhance the best living experience in the heart of Dubai.
Concept
The One Za'abeel building melds breathtaking design with its sought-after location. Sneha Divias Atelier introduces a touch of high glamour in a city where most 'super-luxury' homes are conformist. The client understood the value of design in a building of such intrigue with exquisite views across the desert and the city. Although there was no specific client who would live in this space, Sneha Divias Atelier created their own narrative: They demanded the very best in interiors that would attract stylish, wealthy families who like to travel, entertain and appreciate design. The designers created an urban, slightly dramatic ambiance.
Various design elements
In the dining room, the Meridiani marble table and distinctive Masiero pendant lights are picture-perfect for parties. The Baxter brass freestanding units achieve a see-through separation of the living and dining areas. Their favourite piece in the apartment is the Poltrona Frau sideboard in the dining area. The living area optimizes the view and double-height ceiling. There is a juxtaposition of softer finishes, such as velvet and hard finishes such as marble and brass elements, combined with wood to soften the palette. The master bedroom is a more intimate space with calmer elements and a Poliform bed with a round sculpture piece on the headboard wall and an oversized mirror. The children's room is playful yet simple.
About the ambiance
Every detail is polished and with great accuracy, quality of design and attention to detail so that the apartment could provide a tranquil retreat from city living. The centre of the sophisticated Dubai apartment is flooded with natural light and fills a spacious and airy living room.

With a two-week time frame,Sneha Divias Atelier procured the furniture, decorations and accessories.
Unique features
The apartment is an elegantly understated celebration of its iconic surroundings with layers of sumptuous materials in soft, muted colours to create a feeling of reserved, relaxed opulence.
