The residence is located on a prominent hillside in the middle of a diverse park with an unrestricted view of Lake Maggiore. The six houses nestle against the existing topography of the original vineyard. The lighting concept for the park focuses on the nightly atmosphere. The access via the path and the stairs is staged with a rhythmic sequence of warm points of light. The pool overlooks the rock and gives a clear view of the lake to Italy or the Magadino plain.

The Residenza Parco d'Oro is located in a former vineyard, directly above the center of Ascona and consists of six detached houses, including a semi-detached house.
The buildings, arranged on the valley side, stand along the slope and open their terraces towards the lake, offering a living experience rich in contrasts.
The living rooms are particularly characterized by large-scale air-lux sliding door elements, thus providing a visually barrier-free transition to the natural surroundings.
In total, the six houses are equipped with 59 manually operated, smoothly running air-lux sliding window elements in aluminum construction, 55 tilt and turn windows, 6 exterior doors and balcony doors including shading.
