Anchored around light, comfort, and connection, Pointing Dog features several distinctive elements, including cozy alcove spaces, a kitchen tailored for a former pastry chef, and a small custom sauna designed as a scaled version of the main house. 

Sun-conscious design considerations guided by passive house-inspired principles are used throughout the house. A deep covered porch shields the interiors from seasonal extremes while drawing the eye to sweeping mountain views. Swings repurposed from old ski lifts add playfulness and a nod to the valley’s alpine heritage.
