"Connections and access to the outdoors are key to the layout and design, with a slice of green hedging visible from the kitchen window and the bright blue pool an ever-present feature.
Moving indoors, the play on lines continues into the concrete-lined hallway, pulling the gaze through a noir-style louvre-shadowed space. The space comes alive with light, adorned with a pendant reminiscent of a bunch of balloons that animates an angular sculpture across the back wall. Taking inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s principle of compression and release, the interiors then open to a series of double-height entertaining, living and kitchen spaces, which feature a base palette of cool whites and greys livened with warm metallics and velvets in rich tones of maroon, purple and navy."
