The new headquarters of the company Probat Trockenbau is based in the Bavarian town of Ingolstadt. The building is located in the industrial area in the south of the city, at a strategically important road junction and nearby the football stadium.

The building consists of two main volumes: a regular-shaped warehouse and a very dynamic and complex volume that surrounds the warehouse, in which there are the offices. The two volumes are clearly perceivable even by the color choices of the facade cladding: black for the warehouse and white for the offices.

The offices and other technical and administrative spaces are located on the ground floor as much as on the first floor. On the ground floor, near the main entrance, a large area is intended for customers relations.

The full-height space is visible from the outside through a large curtain wall.

The new headquarters of PROBAT in Ingolstadt is a contemporary office building located in an industrial context at a strategically important urban intersection. The architectural concept combines a strong, three-dimensional façade expression with large-scale glazing, creating a dynamic balance between solidity and transparency.

The building envelope is defined by a striking aluminium composite façade that wraps around the concrete structure like a continuous skin. This complex 3D façade volume is visually contrasted by extensive glass surfaces, particularly in the entrance and foyer areas, where transparency and openness dominate the spatial experience.

Metall Ritten was responsible for the execution of all metal and glass works, including the aluminium façade cladding, structural glass façades, and interior glass railings. The project also included the fabrication and installation of staircase railings with full-height glass panels and stainless steel handrails, combining technical precision with architectural lightness.

A key challenge was the realization of the complex three-dimensional façade geometry, requiring highly accurate prefabrication and precise on-site installation.
