PUBLIC Hall powered by Huckletree is our first GovTech focused workspace, bringing together a curated community of startups, investors and innovators transforming public services.
Created in partnership with leading GovTech venture firm PUBLIC, and based on the iconic Horse Guards Avenue, PUBLIC Hall is located at the heart of the UK’s policy making district.
In its previous life as an event space, the building was largely under-utilised - to its detriment. Public Hall will be bringing this historic building to life in the most dynamic way; with 200 members, an exciting content programme and various spaces to encourage the different work and collaborative styles. Suffice to say that the building will look and feel tangibly different from its previous history, albeit we’ve worked to retain the dramatic feel that it has benefitted from throughout time - the main event room, for example, has new life as our own main gathering space, and will be a focal point for the connection of the community.
With Public Hall being a Grade II Listed Building, we were conscious that whilst our designs needed to bring newness they also needed to be mindful of their historic setting. We worked with Sella Concept to create interiors which is a merging of old and new, bringing new sophistication to Huckletree in the form of Public Hall in a contemporary take on Deco. You’ll see colours that are reflective of English Heritage, including our takes on Celestial Blue, Dorchester Pink and Sage Green.
