The public library at the Spaarndammerstraat has been completely redesigned by OA Architects. The new interior design creates a light and bright environment to work and to read. By shifting the more public functions towards the street side of the building there is a greater connection between the library and the city. long rows of books make it more easily to find the book you want to read combined with a more rigid structure of the interior. The ceiling seems to floot between the two floors.
