On the land to be intervened, located near the Laguna del Sauce, there was an old abandoned building that was previously used for storing forage and field tools. The commission consisted of converting it into a house-refuge that could be used during long stays, which implied a minimal programmatic expansion to guarantee habitability. We decided to build an outer skin that would amplify use and hide new programs by generating activation bubbles that are located in the interstices between the skin and the existing construction.
