Residencial Neo, conceived by WGB Arquitetura e Engenharia for REV Incorporações, emerges within the urban landscape of Balneário Piçarras as a celebration of timeless elegance. The project's ultimate challenge was to translate the principles of neoclassical language into the scale and demands of a contemporary multi-family vertical residential building, balancing historical opulence with modern functionality.
The building's volumetry is rigorously structured based on symmetry and vertical modulation. At the bottom, the podium enhances the connection with pedestrians through a translucent, active storefront facade and imposing decorative pilasters that bring solidity to the structure. This arrangement promotes a harmonious transition between public and private spaces, seamlessly integrating local commerce into the daily lives of the residents.
Throughout the main body of the building, private terraces featuring metal guardrails and glass enclosures create a rhythmic cadence of solids and voids. Moldings and friezes across the facades reinforce the classic aesthetic, while large openings ensure maximum luminous efficiency and natural ventilation for the high-end interiors.
The pinnacle of the architectural design reveals itself in the crown. The building is topped by a pronounced cornice and a sumptuous, semicircular arched pediment. This iconic element not only conceals the technical areas but also carves a striking silhouette into the region's skyline. Strategically embedded into the facade, scenic linear lighting highlights the textures, planes, and overall volumetry of the Neo during the night, maximizing its urban presence.
